We drink coffee in all kinds of different places. We can drink it at work. We can drink it standing in the kitchen as we try to wake ourselves up in the morning. We might even treat ourselves to a milky coffee as we get ourselves ready for bed at night. In this case it would probably be a decaf of course.
But just as the type of coffee you drink might change from time to time, so the receptacle you drink it out of could change as well. For instance if you like to have a nice strong coffee to wake you up in the morning, you might want a bigger mug to use to make sure you have a big enough dose of caffeine. Conversely you may wish to have a much smaller mug for that cup before bedtime, so you don’t drink too much of it. Even without the caffeine a large drink can still have you up during the night!
With this in mind you will probably start to look around to see how many different kinds of coffee mugs there are around today. Have you seen the colour changing heat activated ones for instance? These can provide good value and entertainment and you will always be able to see how hot your coffee is before you drink it as well.
Whetever you buy a new coffee mug make sure you take a look underneath to see if it is labelled as being safe to use in the microwave. How many times have you taken a sip of your coffee and then put it down and forgotten all about it? If you can drink reheated coffee it is a lot easier if you can pop the whole thing in the microwave to do it.
Another good thing to buy is a portable coffee mug. Now we know what you are thinking – all coffee mugs are portable because you just have to pick them up. But here we are talking about travel mugs that have a sealed lid and some kind of sliding opening on top to open and close them nice and easily. If you have one of these you can take your coffee out with you and it will still be warm enough to drink once you get to work. Either that or just pull over and park as you drink it en route.
