Tesco is better known for its food selection than its coffee maker one, but it still has something to offer. Tesco direct sells everything from furniture to lawnmowers and it has a reasonable selection of coffee makers. It represents a useful number of popular brands including its own home brand. The website is a little busy with offers and advertisements but easy enough to navigate and you can narrow your search by brand or price.
Finding the website
Visit the Tesco direct home page at www.direct.tesco.com.
Finding the section on coffee makers
On reaching the Tesco Direct home page go to the Home Electrical tab on the band at the top of the page. Click on this tab to find a drop down menu. Go to ‘Small Kitchen Appliances’ and click on that to bring up the relevant page. On the left hand side of the page is a menu. Under the heading ‘category’, look for ‘Coffee Machines’ and click on that. You’ll be taken to the coffee machines opening page.
The selection available
Not being an electronics retailer you might not expect the Tesco range of coffee makers to be large but it is reasonable and most of the popular brands are available including Bosch, Breville, DeLonghi, Gaggia, Krups, Prestige and more. Items range from inexpensive filter coffee makers to mid range espresso/cappuccino machines.

Finally
The Tesco website offers a good selection of coffee makers at reasonable prices. The website is easy to navigate although there are a lot of advertisements cluttering up the pages. Purchasing on line means registering, but once you’ve done that it’s straightforward. This website has one of the best review programmes, important if you want to know what other people think of a product. It gathers a lot of individual reviews and its grading system is more precise than the usual five star system.
