Cuisinart began as a food processor specialist but today offers a wide range of innovative products for use in the kitchen. It has been producing coffee makers since the 1990s and entered the United Kingdom market in 2003. It offers a range that includes a bean to cup filter machine and other filter machines as well as an espresso maker. Finding the section on coffee makers
When you have reached the Cuisinart home page look for the menu on the left hand side of the page. Click on ‘Coffee’ to take you to the coffee maker window that opens on the existing page. Alternatively go to the ‘Breakfast’ image link and click on there. That brings up the breakfast products including coffee makers. Click on coffee in the bottom left hand corner of the top panel.
The selection available
Cuisinart offers four filter machines and an espresso maker. The espresso maker is worth a look as it’s reasonably priced and you get 15 bar pump pressure, frothing arm for making cappuccinos, large water tank that’s removable and it takes soft pods. Their filter selection features the ‘Grind and Brew’ items that have an integrated bean grinder – unusual for a filter machine.
Information provided on the site
On the Cuisinart home page is a video window featuring an online demo of a range of its products. Its coffee maker ‘Grind and Brew’ is one of the items featured and it’s well worth a look if you want to see how a filter machine works and what it produces. The machine in question is special in that it has an inbuilt grinder to produce the best filter brew. The video is also available.
The coffee maker window shows the featured machine at the top panel of the page and a list of the coffee makers available in the bottom panel. You can scroll along the bottom panel to find the machine that interests you then click on the image to feature it in the top panel. There’s an image on the left and an information box on the right hand side of the top panel.
Along the bottom of the panel are tabs for ‘Product Features’, ‘Description’, ‘Product specification’, ‘Downloads’ and where relevant ‘Video’. Click on one of the tabs for the information to be shown in the information box to the right of the image.
‘Product specification’ lists basic information on weight, voltage, frequency and more. It gives packaging dimensions as well as product dimensions ‘Description’ gives a run down on the features of the machine and their benefits. For instance, you learn that the ‘Grind and Brew Plus’ has a double–wall insulator for keeping the coffee warm over a long period of time as well as two charcoal filters to purify the water so the taste of your coffee is not distorted or that the espresso maker can be used with soft pods as well as ground coffee.
‘Product Features’ lists products full name, model number recommended retail price and the main features that make the machine special, such as the integrated burr grinder in the ‘Grind and Brew Plus’ machine. ‘Downloads’ includes an instruction booklet.

The lower panel shows the range of coffee makers. Click on the image of the one you want to look at to feature it in the upper panel.
